**ONLY HOLDER IS INCLUDED, tools not included, shown for reference only** The front side multi-tool holder was designed to complement Sherlines four position, gang-tooling tool posts (P/N 5930 or P/N 5935). It can be used in conjunction with the gang-tooling tool post, or on its own for our customers who want to convert their Sherline lathe into a “Chucker Lathe” or gang-tooling lathe. Our front side, multi-tool holder offers a convenient and accurate way to hold up to two, round boring tools, and a slot for holding turning, grooving or threading tools. This tool post has (2) 5/8″ holes to hold boring bars, drill chucks, or tool bushings, and a slot to hold a 5/8″ lathe cutting tool with two locking screws for each tool. Includes the following: 5/8″ Front Side Multi-Tool Post Body, (2) 10-32 x 1″ SHC Screw, (2) Extended Tool-Post T-Nut, (6) 10-32 x 3/4″ SHC Screw, (2) #10 Washer, (2) Steel Dowel Pin 1/4″ x 3/4″. Specifications: Tool Post Body, Material - Aluminum, Body Coating - Black Anodized, Body Dimensions (H x W X D) - 1.7″ x 3.764″ x 1.1875″. Considerations Regarding this Tool Post and Its Possible End Uses: There are many considerations regarding this tool post and its possible end uses. Please check the instructions for a complete list. This tool post is designed to be used with our 13″ Mill Table (P/N 50180 or P/N 67050) in place of the crosslide. Other recommended optional equipment includes P/N 1294 Riser Plate in order for your tools to be on centerline with the headstock spindle. While the gang-tooling tool post will mount on the the 6″ and 8″ crosslides, its size renders it unusable on either of these crosslides.
