Hair grows in the same direction except for some exceptions of people with curly hair; it grows out straight for a second, and then it curves kinda like life. We get curveballs!“Split Ends,” my story is about the twists and turns, the ups and downs, and getting through life, regardless of these setbacks! Nobody knows our story except for us, which is why I want to tell you about my life story from age five and up to becoming a successful hairdresser with over forty years of experience.My book is a heartfelt memoir and self-help guide, which was therapeutically healing to write because it helped me reflect on my own life! My goal with “Split Ends” is to possibly write a book that is motivational and therapeutic, as well as self-help and help. As a “Hairapist,” I believe a client sits down in the chair and talks to me about everything, and they let me in their life, even if it’s for a quick moment once every 3 to 6 weeks.The thing I love about my job is the people - the hair is second! I love making people feel beautiful or good about themselves. It’s more than just hair. It’s about being more than just a hairstylist.
