What is SculpSure?
SculpSure is an advanced tool that uses a hyperthermic laser to heat fat cells beneath your skin to damage their integrity, without harming the surrounding tissues or the skin’s surface. Your body naturally eliminates the damaged fat cells through a process known as lipolysis; this occurs over time, so the process is gradual, and the results look natural.
How many SculpSure treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed varies for each person. During your consultation, Dr. Ohanian will discuss your areas of concern, and create a customized treatment plan that addresses each of your trouble spots.
Which areas of the body can SculpSure treat?
SculpSure is FDA-approved for fat-reduction in the:

What should I expect during a SculpSure treatment?
A SculpSure treatment takes just 25 minutes to complete, and no anesthesia is required. You’ll relax in a reclined position, and Dr. Ohanian will make some marks on the target area before she applies the tool to your body and secures it with a strap.
You’ll feel both a warming sensation, as the laser heats the cells beneath your skin, and a cooling sensation between heating periods. Most patients find treatments to be tolerable; you may wish to read or even take a short nap during your session.
Do SculpSure treatments require downtime?
SculpSure is a noninvasive, in-office procedure that doesn’t require any downtime. Most people can return to normal activities immediately after treatment. You may have some light bruising or stiffness, but this usually goes away within 24 hours.
When will I see results after my SculpSure treatment?
The process of lipolysis takes time, but you should start to see results around six weeks following your first session, with optimal results visible around 12 weeks.
How long do results last?
SculpSure permanently removes fat cells from your body. If you maintain a healthy lifestyle, with good eating habits and regular exercise, the results of your SculpSure treatments will be permanent.
